Ms. Hopkins is a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who brings extensive inpatient, outpatient, and virtual psychiatric experience to Willow Health. She earned a master's degree in nursing from Regis College and a BSN degree from the University of Vermont.
At Willow Health, she treats individuals ages 18 and older with a range of mental health needs, focusing on anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, self harm, bipolar disorder, and trauma. She sees new intakes and provides follow up medication management services in our crisis and IOP programs. Willow offers virtual only services for individuals who are located in the state of NY. Office hours are 11a ET – 7p ET Monday through Friday with after hours nursing call access.
Ms. Hopkins practices within a holistic and comprehensive model that integrates various evidence-based treatments while recognizing the multifaceted nature of mental health. Various aspects of of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) are incorporated to address cognitive and emotional challenges, while also closely examining the social, physical, and emotional factors that influence a patient’s well-being.By empowering patients through education and active participation in their treatment plans, She strives to foster resilience and improve overall health outcomes, ensuring that each individual receives personalized care tailored to their unique circumstances.
