Millicent Brown is an experienced, board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, bringing over 20 years of healthcare experience to Willow Health. Ms. Brown received her Master’s in Nursing from Mount Saint Mary College in 2004, Post Masters Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Frontier Nursing University, and her Doctor of Health Education from A.T. Still University in 2010. She has experience working with a range of populations from children to geriatrics. In addition to her extensive clinical experience, she has been an assistant and adjunct professor for several nursing programs and has served on several healthcare committees.
Ms. Brown provides new patient and medication management visits within our crisis program to individuals ages 18 and older with a range of mental health needs, focusing on anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, self harm, bipolar disorder, and trauma.
Willow offers virtual only services for individuals who are located in the state of NY. Office hours are 11a ET – 7p ET Monday through Friday with after hours nursing call access.

Suicidal ideation - Support living with intense pain, distress, and feelings of persistent hopelessness; strengthening meaningful relationships and experiences in one’s life
Mood disorders - Clinical depression, persistent depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood disorders that cause disturbances in the client's mood, causing mood swings, restless sleep, and/or elevated mood
