Angela Stuart-Jackson, LPC, NCC

Serving clients across Mississippi and Arkansas

Angela Stuart-Jackson is a licensed therapist who works with adults and couples navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, and major life transitions. Many of her clients are walking through loss related to death, divorce, or betrayal and feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. She is especially attuned to those experiencing traumatic grief and the complex emotional layers that follow sudden or life-altering change.

Angela’s approach is trauma-informed and grounded in emotionally focused therapy, person-centered therapy, therapeutic writing, somatic practices, integrating mindfulness, and parts-based work. She helps clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and nervous system responses are connected, while gently exploring the stories they carry about themselves and their experiences. For clients who desire it, Angela thoughtfully incorporates faith into the healing process, honoring their spiritual beliefs as a source of meaning, strength, and restoration.

Her style is warm, steady, and collaborative. Angela creates a safe, compassionate space where clients can process at their own pace while also receiving practical tools to manage anxiety, grief, and overwhelm. She values building a strong therapeutic relationship and walking alongside clients as they rediscover hope, resilience, and a deeper sense of identity.

Angela has experience supporting individuals through trauma, loss, and relational challenges across a variety of settings. She offers tele-health therapy for clients in Mississippi and Arkansas, providing flexible and accessible care. Her practice is centered on helping clients find steadiness, reconnect with their sense of self, and move forward with clarity, purpose, and hope.

Message to clients

Before starting sessions with me, I want you to know that therapy is a space where you will be seen, heard, and understood. Life can feel overwhelming when you’ve experienced loss, transition, or trauma, and it’s normal to feel stuck, anxious, or uncertain about your next steps. My hope is to provide a steady, safe place where you can explore what has happened in your life, understand how it has shaped you, and begin to reclaim your sense of balance and clarity.

I approach therapy in a trauma-informed, narrative way, which means we look at your experiences, your body’s responses, and your story as a whole. Healing is often a gradual process — a gentle emergence of the parts of yourself that may have felt buried or overlooked. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide guidance, practical tools, and a supportive presence as you navigate change.

Even in times of uncertainty, growth and transformation are possible. My hope for you is that you leave our sessions feeling more grounded, empowered, and capable of moving forward with intention and self-trust — much like a dragonfly emerging into flight, steady and free.
