Embarking on a therapeutic journey is a profound act of courage and self-awareness. You may find yourself feeling lost, burdened by anxiety or depression, or struggling with addiction. Perhaps you carry shame surrounding sexuality or relationships, or notice unproductive patterns that seem to recur. In our work together, we will unravel these challenges in a space of genuine warmth, trust, and empathy. I honor the depth and intricacy of your experiences and am dedicated to helping you uncover the roots of your struggles. By illuminating what underlies your distress, you can move forward with greater agency, flexibility, and a renewed sense of ease.
I also specialize in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples—whether you are in a traditional partnership, exploring non-monogamy, or navigating diverse orientations. Together, we will examine the emotional cycles that create distance and foster disconnection, and work toward more authentic, responsive ways of relating. My goal is to help you rekindle warmth, closeness, and genuine curiosity about one another, so that your relationship becomes a source of support and growth.
My foundational training in psychodynamic psychotherapy took shape at Valley Community Counseling Clinic, where I supported clients facing mood and personality disorders, addiction, grief and loss, and career transitions. My training continues through a fellowship in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the esteemed Wright Institute Los Angeles.
Concerns related to sexuality and relationships are central to my practice, guiding individuals toward deeper self-discovery and more satisfying, meaningful connections.
