Hi, I'm Bethany McGinnis, LMHC-A. Thanks for taking the time to see if my style of counseling is a good fit for you. My focus is to be truly present alongside my clients as they deepen their understanding of themselves and process issues in areas of their lives that have caused emotional pain or led to internal questioning. I specialize in helping clients navigate life transitions. If you struggle with making choices, feel stuck in your life, or contemplate existential issues, these are areas that we can explore together. I've also worked extensively with clients experiencing the emotional pain of grief and loss, supporting them through the process of cultivating more acceptance and peace.

I help my clients come to a fuller understanding of how their past experiences impact their worldview and relationships. I believe helping clients identify their most closely-held values and gain insight into their true selves can lead to clarity. Clarity is a guide towards a rich and meaningful life with purpose. I provide a non-judgmental environment using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches, but I also bring realness and humor to the therapy space.

Through our work, you'll develop a variety of emotional regulation tools. I teach interpersonal skills for better relationships, self-advocacy and healthy boundary setting.
