Carrie Meyer, LCSW, is a therapist providing out patient therapy services in the states of Virginia and New Hampshire. She began working in the mental health field at the age of 19 and possesses a range of skills and experiences drawn from her vast experiences in the fields of therapy, mental health support services, community services, and residential treatment. Ms. Meyer works with teens, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, relationship and family concerns, trauma, work stress, life transitions, mood disorders, and pregnancy- and postpartum-related challenges, including perinatal mood disorders and pregnancy loss.

Ms. Meyer works from an inclusivity-based, affirming approach and that offers a nonjudgmental space for clients of diverse identities, relationship structures, cultural backgrounds, and belief systems. This includes a practice model that is LGBTQ+ affirming and sex-positive, inclusive of consensual non-monogamous and kink-informed relationships, and neurodivergent-informed, including clients on the autism spectrum and those with attention and executive functioning differences.

Therapist's note

I offer sliding scale rates based on need. Fees are negotiable, please free to reach out with any questions. Insurance claims will be automatically submitted to your insurance provider. Superbill statements are available upon request for those who need them. Payments are generally made via credit card using my invoicing platform, however, Paypal and Cashapp are also accepted. Missed session fees apply as per office policies.
