Cassandra Massey, JD, MA, AMFT, works with adults who feel stuck in painful or repeating patterns in their relationships, work, or inner emotional world. Many of her clients are high-achieving professionals navigating anxiety, burnout, workplace stress, relational conflict, or the lingering effects of complex trauma. They often appear highly capable on the outside while internally feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, emotionally exhausted, or unsure how to create lasting change in their lives and relationships.
Her approach is warm, direct, and insight-oriented while also being highly practical and action-focused. Cassandra integrates relational, somatic, and trauma-informed approaches to help clients better understand the patterns shaping their experiences, regulate their nervous systems, strengthen boundaries, and develop more secure and authentic ways of relating to themselves and others. Therapy with Cassandra is collaborative and experiential, with a focus on helping clients move beyond intellectual understanding into meaningful emotional and behavioral change.
Cassandra has advanced training in several evidence-based and experiential modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Relational Life Therapy (RLT), Interpersonal Neurobiology, mindfulness-based approaches, and trauma-informed somatic interventions. Before becoming a therapist, she practiced law and worked extensively with individuals and families navigating conflict and high-stress relational dynamics. Her background as both a former attorney and therapist gives her a unique perspective on the intersection of relationships, stress, identity, and emotional well-being.
Cassandra provides virtual therapy for adults throughout California. She offers a supportive and grounded space where clients can slow down, gain clarity, and begin shifting long-standing patterns that no longer serve them. Her work is especially well-suited for individuals seeking a therapist who combines depth, structure, accountability, and compassion in the therapeutic process.
