Professional statement

I’m a bilingual Latinx licensed psychologist in New York, Florida, and Puerto Rico, and the Founder of Feelthentic Therapy Group, PLLC—an online therapy clinic serving clients across these regions. Through the PsyPact legislation, I’m also authorized to offer telehealth services in over 40 states across the U.S.

My diverse clinical and cultural background informs an inclusive, culturally responsive approach that honors each client’s unique identity and lived experience. I work from a psychodynamic and trauma-informed framework, creating a space where clients can explore the unconscious patterns—often rooted in early or painful experiences—that shape their emotions, thoughts, and relationships today.

I specialize in complex trauma and PTSD, Latinx and immigrant mental health, and health psychology. I have extensive experience supporting individuals, couples, families, and groups impacted by trauma and systemic adversity, with a deep commitment to minoritized communities and health care providers.

Message to clients

The therapeutic process is profound—it deserves to be approached with deep respect and thoughtful care. I view therapy as a space to explore the unconscious dynamics that keep us stuck in patterns that no longer serve us. These internal conflicts often originate in early relational experiences, and revisiting the past with new insight can provide the clarity needed to understand current symptoms, behaviors, and emotional pain.

Rooted in a trauma-informed and psychodynamic lens, my work focuses on rebuilding self-trust by uncovering the underlying mechanisms behind what may seem, on the surface, like anxiety, depression, or self-sabotage. Informed by object relations theory, I help clients recognize how internalized early relationships continue to shape their present ways of relating—to others and to themselves.

We are made of many parts. Some protect us by pushing others away, numbing our feelings, or striving for perfection. While these parts are often misunderstood or judged, they emerged for a reason—to shield us from pain we once could not bear. Yet beneath these protective layers lies the most vital part of us: the self that longs for connection, authenticity, and to be truly seen and known.

As a psychologist, my role is to walk alongside you in this deeply personal and transformative journey—with compassion, honesty, and an unwavering respect for your complexity. Together, we will work to make sense of your inner world, so that healing and lasting change can begin.
