Professional statement

With deep experience in Integrative Psychotherapy,

Diane Nadler, LCSW-R, BCD helps individuals, couples and adult family members navigate life’s emotional complexities and patterns that keep them feeling stuck. She works with those seeking greater clarity, healing and transformation - including creatives and professionals, couples in conflict, adult children and parents, and those struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, or the lingering effects of trauma. Her work draws from evidence-based and experiential modalities including EMDR, ACT, Buddhist Philosophy and Contemplative Techniques, Mindfully-Based Psychotherapy, Ericksonian Hypnotherapy and Somatic Reintegration ™ - a gentle, fully clothed hands-on approach she created that incorporates hypnotic mind-body relaxation, gentle touch, and client self-inquiry to explore where unintegrated emotions and beliefs are held in the body, giving expression to them, and transforming them. This integrative framework allows clients to safely connect with their inner experience and expand awareness of how earlier experiences, unconscious patterns, and present moment insight intersect in the process of change. Known for her calm, grounded presence and intuitive understanding, Diane offers a compassionate space where every aspect of the self is welcome. Her approach is mindful, depth-oriented and collaborative - attuned to each person’s unique pace and capacity for healing. Through this work, clients learn to cultivate self-acceptance, emotional regulation and authentic connection with themselves and others. Diane is a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work and a Certified Practitioner of Ericksonian Hypnotherapy. She maintains offices in Manhattan’s Gramercy Park/Flat Iron District and in Historic Hurley, NY (Hudson Valley) offering both in-person and virtual sessions, as well as a free 15 minute initial telephone consultation to mutually determine our fit and next steps.

Message to clients

Hello, I’m Diane Nadler. You may be seeking therapy because something within you is asking for attention, relief, or change. My role is to help you listen to that voice with compassion and curiosity. In our work together, we’ll explore both the stories you tell yourself and the wisdom of your unconscious mind and body - uncovering how past experiences and beliefs shape the present, and how present-centered awareness can open space for healing. My collaborative approach is grounded in mindfulness, somatic awareness and gentle hypnotherapeutic techniques that support authentic transformation at your own pace. Therapy can be a place to remember and build upon your strengths, reconnect with what’s most alive in you, and begin the process of deep healing and transformation.

My practice offers you mindful psychotherapy for deep healing and transformation.
