Hallie Msongamwanja is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in walking alongside adults through life's most difficult seasons. She works with individuals navigating grief and loss, infertility, pregnancy loss, and trauma, as well as couples seeking support through relational challenges. Hallie is particularly passionate about serving those experiencing quiet, invisible losses that others may not fully understand.
Hallie's approach is warm, collaborative, and empowering. She is EMDR trained and working toward EMDRIA certification, using a brain-based method that helps clients process painful experiences that words alone cannot always reach. She also draws on advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, one of the most well-researched couples therapy models, rooted in attachment theory. Hallie believes all people are created for connection and that we live our most fulfilling lives when we feel secure within our relationships.
With over 14 years of clinical experience across inpatient, community mental health, and private practice settings, Hallie brings a broad and grounded perspective to her work. She holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University and is licensed as an LPC in Oklahoma and Virginia and an LCPC in Kansas. She also has specialized training in Written Exposure Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, and experience supporting couples in interracial and intercultural relationships.
Hallie offers both in-person and virtual therapy across Oklahoma, Kansas, and Virginia through her private practice. Couples and family sessions are 60 minutes at $200 self-pay. She does not accept insurance for couples therapy, believing a relationship does not need a diagnosis to deserve care.

I do NOT accept insurance for couples therapy. Couples therapy is generally not covered by insurance and I do not submit sessions for reimbursement. A mental health diagnosis is typically not medically necessary for couples therapy and a diagnosis is required for insurance to cover services. Couples sessions are 60 minutes and $200/session self pay.
