Professional statement

Hola, and welcome.

My name is Jasmin Calderon, and I am a bilingual Latina clinical therapist dedicated to creating a therapeutic space rooted in presence, authenticity, and meaningful transformation. I believe that healing emerges through attuned connection a process where individuals feel deeply seen, respected, and supported as they reconnect with their inner wisdom.

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, relational challenges, identity exploration, and the desire for deeper self-understanding. Beginning therapy requires courage, and I honor the vulnerability and strength it takes to step into this process. My work is grounded in a person-centered philosophy, emphasizing collaboration, curiosity, and compassionate witnessing.

I integrate mindfulness-based and experiential approaches, including Hakomi therapy principles, which gently explore the connection between body, emotions, and unconscious beliefs. Through mindful awareness, somatic tracking, and experiential exploration, we slow down together to uncover patterns held within the nervous system, allowing transformation to arise with depth and sustainability rather than force.

My approach is integrative and culturally responsive, drawing from humanistic therapy, parts work, narrative exploration, and somatic awareness. When aligned with your values, we may also incorporate spiritual or existential themes, honoring the interconnected nature of mind, body, culture, and spirit.

Clients often describe my style as warm, grounded, and deeply attuned. Sessions are collaborative and intentional, creating space for both gentle exploration and meaningful insight. Therapy with me is not about fixing what is broken, but about cultivating awareness, compassion, and alignment with your authentic self.

I believe therapy can feel both clinically grounded and profoundly human; a sacred space for reflection, healing, and growth.

If this resonates with you, it would be a privilege to walk alongside you in your journey.

Con cariño,

Jasmin Calderon, Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

Message to clients

Beginning therapy can feel both hopeful and uncertain, and I want you to know that you don’t have to arrive with everything figured out. You are welcome exactly as you are; whether you feel clear about what you need or are simply carrying a sense that something in your life deserves attention and care. My hope is to create a space where you feel safe enough to slow down, listen inward, and explore your experiences without pressure or judgment.

In our work together, I value authenticity, curiosity, and gentle presence. Therapy with me is not about rushing toward solutions or forcing change, but about cultivating awareness and understanding at a pace that feels respectful to your nervous system and your story. At times, we may pause to notice what is happening internally because meaningful insight often emerges from these moments of mindful attention. I see therapy as a collaborative process where your voice, culture, and personal values guide the direction of our work.

My hope for you is not perfection, but greater connection to yourself, to your relationships, and to the parts of you that may have been overlooked or unheard. Healing does not require you to become someone new; rather, it invites you to come home to who you have always been, with greater compassion and clarity. If you choose to begin this journey with me, I consider it a privilege to walk alongside you.
