Professional statement

She works with couples, families, and adult siblings who want to strengthen their relationships and communicate more effectively. Many of her clients feel stuck in recurring conflict, navigating trust issues, or carrying long-standing tension that hasn’t been resolved. She has a particular focus on adult sibling relationships, including estrangement, rivalry, caregiving roles, and major life transitions. Her clients are typically thoughtful, motivated individuals who are ready to better understand themselves and each other.

Her approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each situation. She integrates client-centered, attachment-based, and Adlerian perspectives, along with practical communication tools. Sessions often begin with clear goals and intentions and close with a shared understanding of progress. She helps clients reduce defensiveness, improve listening, and create more productive, respectful conversations that lead to lasting change.

With over 17years of experience as a licensed therapist, she brings both professional expertise and real-life perspective to her work. She has extensive experience with couples and family systems and works with clients across different life stages. Her style is engaging, grounded, and focused on helping clients make meaningful, sustainable shifts in their relationships.

Her practice is located in Toluca Lake, serving clients in Studio City, Burbank, Glendale, and Sherman Oaks. She offers in-person sessions in California, as well as secure online sessions for clients throughout California and South Carolina (online only). Couples and family sessions are typically 75 minutes to allow each person to be heard. Flexible scheduling is available, including morning, afternoon, and evening appointments.

Message to clients

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and you don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. Whether you’re coming in as a couple, a family, or on behalf of a sibling relationship, my hope is that you arrive just as you are—with honesty, openness, and a willingness to explore what’s not working and what could feel better. You don’t need the “right words”—we’ll find them together.

In our work, I focus on creating a space where each person feels heard and respected. I will guide conversations so they stay productive, helping you slow things down, communicate more clearly, and understand each other in new ways. Change doesn’t happen overnight, but with consistency and effort, it does happen—and often in ways that feel relieving and meaningful.

Before starting, it’s helpful to know that I typically work in 75-minute sessions for couples and families so everyone has time to be heard. I will ask each person to complete an intake and set intentions for our work together. My goal is to support you in building stronger, more connected relationships that feel sustainable long after therapy ends.
