Professional statement

Jessica is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who works with couples, adolescents, and individuals. Her clinical interests include teen issues, blended families, communication and intimacy challenges, and supporting individuals and families navigating life transitions.

Jessica takes a culturally informed and relational approach that honors clients’ autonomy while helping them build coping skills and identify creative strategies to shift unhelpful patterns. She tailors her work to each client’s unique circumstances and meets them where they are—with empathy, motivation, and a nonjudgmental presence. Jessica believes clients are the experts of their own lived experience, and she seeks to support and guide them toward their goals with warmth, curiosity, and a sense of humor.

Jessica earned her B.S. in Film & Television from Boston University and her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University. She has completed Level 2 training in the Gottman Method for couples therapy. Before pursuing a career in counseling, she worked for a film studio in Los Angeles and continues to enjoy exploring the psychology behind on-screen characters—and what they can teach us about ourselves.
