Katrina Shepard(She/Her/Hers)

Shepard Therapy Associates is a boutique group practice with a team of talented clinicians. Katrina is our Executive Director, and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. Having engaged in clinical training at VA Boston Healthcare System, she brings extensive experience with folks from diverse backgrounds. She is passionate about serving couples and individuals, military veterans, first responders, mothers and parents, and those struggling with substance use.

Katrina specializes in treating trauma and SUD, as well as providing consultation for medical staff in an integrated primary care setting. With a style that is collaborative and direct, she utilizes evidence-based treatments supported by scientific research, including EMDR. Often it is most helpful and effective to use a combination of treatment approaches that may include CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness practices. With a background rooted in social justice, she welcomes a wide range of creative professionals, executives, parents, and young adults to her practice.
