Professional statement

Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to explore my page. My name is Kim, and I am a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern dedicated to supporting individuals in navigating life’s challenges with compassion, clarity, and practical strategies for change. With over 10 years of experience in individual therapy, crisis intervention, and substance use treatment, I bring both clinical expertise and a genuine commitment to walking alongside my clients in their healing journey.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative and client-centered, drawing on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed care. I believe that therapy is a safe and empowering space where individuals can explore their struggles and build on their strengths.
