Professional statement

Nioosha Tavallaei, LMFT, is a trauma-informed therapist who offers a warm, grounded space for adults navigating attachment trauma, anxiety, perfectionism, addiction, and relational challenges. She works from an integrative approach rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and incorporates EMDR to support body-based healing and reprocessing.

Nioosha has a deep respect for the wisdom of each client’s inner system and brings a thoughtful, compassionate presence to her work. She is especially passionate about supporting individuals who feel stuck or disconnected, and helps clients build meaningful, healing relationships with their internal parts. As an Iranian therapist, she offers culturally attuned care and holds space for the complexity of identity with openness and humility.

Nioosha sees clients remotely across California and currently has Friday availability. She welcomes referrals and is always open to connecting with those curious about the therapy process.

Message to clients

Before we begin, I invite you to start thinking about what feels most important for you right now—what you'd like to shift, explore, or understand more deeply. Therapy works best when it’s guided by what matters to you. At the same time, you don’t need to have all the answers right away. We’ll move together at the speed of trust.

I use a compassionate, trauma-informed approach that helps make space for the parts of you that feel overwhelmed, stuck, or tired of holding so much. Over time, therapy can help bring more clarity, ease, and self-connection.

As an immigrant, I hold a special respect for the complexities of identity, belonging, and cultural expectations. My hope is to offer a space where you can gently reconnect with yourself, and feel supported in creating meaningful, lasting change.
