Tulika Lal is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist based in Chicago, with over 9 years of experience in the field of mental health. She works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing a range of relational and emotional challenges, including family & couples conflict, parenting, child mental health, life transitions, anxiety, and identity development.
Her therapeutic approach is grounded in systemic thinking and cultural humility, with the belief that meaningful change emerges when people feel seen, safe, and valued. Tulika draws from evidence-based models including Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and integrates elements of Satir’s Experiential Therapy to meet each client’s unique needs.
Tulika holds a Master’s in Couples and Family Therapy from Seattle University, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Psychology from reputed universities in India. She has worked across clinical, community, and educational settings, founded a private practice in India, and developed mental health curricula for both private and public schools.
