Practice Information

Attunement Counseling & Wellness Collective is a therapy practice serving residents of Connecticut, Massachusetts & Rhode Island, with a focus on trauma healing & relationships. Many of our clients struggle with a sense of feeling "stuck," wanting to make a change but unsure how, and experience anxiety or depression as a result. Our therapists are particularly sensitive to clients in the midst of major life transitions, such as moving, career changes, loss, welcoming a child, or marriage/divorce, when old wounds can resurface, triggering patterns of perfectionism, self-doubt, and relationship difficulties.

When working with individuals, our approach is rooted in several evidence-based practices, including Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing. The common thread these practices share is a focus on helping clients reconcile their values and ideal self with their behaviors, so that they can begin to make targeted change. Additionally, they help clients understand their physical response to external stressors, and introduce ways to access a state of inner calm.

Attunement Counseling & Wellness Collective is committed to helping clients see and feel progress- therapy with us is dynamic, active, and goal-oriented; we don't just smile and nod! Attunement's therapists have been described as person-first focused, non-judgmental, and down to earth. We are trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and engage in anti-racism work and ongoing professional development to provide the best possible care to our clients.

Attunement's first priority is the experience of our clients. Our therapists work hard to ensure each client feels truly seen, heard, and cared for from the first phone call to the final session.
