At Better Communities Counseling, we believe therapy should be both professional and personal. Our clinicians are highly trained in evidence-based practices, yet warm and approachable in their style. Together, we bring experience in supporting children, teens, and adults through anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, substance use, and relationship challenges.
Our team includes therapists with advanced certifications and diverse specialties — from trauma-focused approaches like EMDR to mindfulness and creative coping strategies that help clients manage stress in healthy ways. We offer individual, couples, and family therapy, with the flexibility of both in-person and virtual sessions.
What makes us unique is our commitment to truly meeting people where they are. We see every client as more than a diagnosis and work collaboratively to create space for healing, growth, and resilience. Clients often tell us they feel both cared for and understood here — and that’s exactly the environment we strive to create.
At Better Communities Counseling, we accept all major PPO plans as well as some managed Medicaid plans. Co-pays or session fees (if applicable) are processed securely through Headway or Stripe at the time of your appointment. For clients who are out-of-network or prefer private pay, fees range from $100–$150 per session.
