Professional statement

Caroline is a Los Angeles based Marriage and Family Therapist who works with couples and individuals dealing with relationship issues, substance use issues, codependency, self-esteem issues among others. She works with adults and teens who are eager to do the work to understand themselves more deeply and live their best life.

Caroline uses psychodynamic and depth theories to dig deep down into her client’s psyche to uncover the “why’s” behind their symptoms. Caroline believes this is the most powerful and lasting method of healing. She uses tools from various other theories to tailor her work to each individual clients’ needs.

Caroline has a warm and energetic energy, with an engaged, directive and straight-forward therapeutic style. Working with her is like having a close friend in your corner who makes you feel safe to explore some of the difficult elements of the psyche that therapy uncovers. She works hard to be sensitive to her client’s emotions and makes them feel genuinely heard and understood, while also holding up a mirror to some of the more difficult parts of themselves they may need to face.

Caroline has worked on a wide range of issues with clients from all walks of life. She loves helping people explore the depths of their souls. She is offering telehealth therapy via video, as well as in-person sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Los Feliz, Los Angeles.

Message to clients

Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here. However you found your way to this page, I don’t believe it was by accident. Being human is hard work, and we aren’t meant to do it alone. While the support of loved ones is helpful, therapy offers something uniquely powerful: a consistent, non-judgmental space to explore, heal, and grow within a supportive relationship.

I believe you deserve to accept and love yourself. I'm here to help you do just that. I aim to help you become the best version of yourself by stepping out of the passenger seat and into the driver’s seat of your life. You have the power to create the life you've always imagined, and my job is to help you get out of your own way so you can step into that vision with clarity and confidence.

I don’t believe psychological healing is one-size-fits-all. My work is rooted in a depth-oriented and psychoanalytic approach that explores the deeper “whys” beneath your symptoms and patterns. From there, I thoughtfully integrate tools from Emotionally Focused Therapy, Humanistic and Client-Centered traditions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, CBT, DBT, and Family Systems — among others — to tailor our work to your unique story and needs.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, carrying unresolved pain from the past, navigating relationship challenges, or seeking a deeper sense of meaning and self-understanding — you’re not alone. This is a place where all parts of you are welcome. I look forward to helping you navigate your path toward healing and wholeness.
