Damian Flores is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals and couples seeking to strengthen their relationships and break free from patterns that no longer serve them. His practice centers on helping clients navigate the complexities of cultural identity, family dynamics, and major life transitions, with particular attention to those balancing multiple cultural expectations. Damian is passionate about supporting people in understanding how their histories, relationships, and lived experiences shape their current realities while guiding them toward meaningful and lasting change.
Grounded in a warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative approach, Damian creates a therapeutic space where clients feel safe to explore their inner worlds and relational patterns. He draws from systemic and relational frameworks to help clients deepen their awareness, improve communication, and navigate conflicts with empathy and clarity. Whether addressing intergenerational tensions, cultural differences, or barriers to intimacy, Damian works alongside his clients to co-create strategies for healthier, more fulfilling connections.
Damian holds a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Drexel University, where he also completed a minor in Addiction Counseling. He is currently pursuing advanced training in sex therapy at Adler University to further support individuals and couples in addressing intimacy and sexual health concerns. As the son of Polish and Mexican immigrants, Damian brings a deeply personal understanding of bicultural identity and the challenges of adaptation into his clinical work. This perspective allows him to approach therapy with cultural humility and provide care that is both affirming and inclusive of diverse identities and experiences.
Damian currently offers therapy in Chicago at Pinnacle Counseling’s Loop office and provides sessions both in person and via telehealth to accommodate clients’ needs and schedules. His flexible approach and commitment to accessibility make therapy a supportive and collaborative process, whether clients are seeking growth individually or within their relationships.
