Dr. Tzanos does not view therapy as a place where people need to be “fixed.” More often, the work involves learning a new way to relate to the thoughts, feelings, memories, and patterns that have been running things. He draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, cognitive behavioral approaches including ERP for OCD and CBT-I for insomnia, Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples, and clinical hypnosis when appropriate.
