Professional statement

Dr. Regina Gullette, Ph.D., MAC, LICDC, supports adults across Ohio who are navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use challenges. If you feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns that are hard to break, she provides structured, compassionate care designed to help you regain stability and direction.

As a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor and Master Addiction Counselor, Dr. Gullette specializes in treating addiction and co-occurring mental health concerns. She understands that substance use is often connected to deeper emotional wounds, stress, or unresolved trauma.

Her approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and practical. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based strategies to help clients build coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and create lasting change.

Dr. Gullette works with individuals seeking clarity, confidence, and meaningful growth — whether in recovery, managing anxiety, or healing from past experiences. Virtual appointments are available throughout Ohio.

Message to clients

You don’t have to carry this alone. If you’ve been living with anxiety, depression, trauma, or the weight of substance use, I understand how heavy that can feel. Reaching out for support takes courage — especially if past experiences with therapy weren’t helpful or felt unsafe. I honor that step.

When you sit with me, you’ll enter a space where your story and lived experience are respected. You can bring the hurt, the confusion, the resilience, and the parts of you that feel exhausted from holding everything together. You don’t have to filter or perform here.

My approach is warm, culturally aware, and grounded in practical structure. Together, we’ll slow things down, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop tools to help you feel more stable and in control. Whether you’re working toward recovery, managing anxiety, or healing from past trauma, our work will focus on steady progress and meaningful change.

You are not something to fix. You are someone deserving of clarity, support, and peace. When you’re ready, we’ll move forward at a pace that feels safe and sustainable for you.
